WHAT TO PROVIDE US

#Needed to start on your case file & file protest(s)
- FAX /DROP/ EMAIL TO US:
- * Your most recent Notice of Assessement Change – preferably the last 3 years. Clients, this is one of the insert filing pockets in your white NetWorth Binder.
- * Your current tax bills for the entire year
- * Basic description of property: e.g. s/f of above grade area, year built, lot size, foundation type ( slab, crawl, bsmt ), special features ( water, stream ).
- #Any improvements made to the property since you’ve owned it.
- Last appraisal
- Estimates for uncomplete repairs: e.g. such as new well needed & other “not in good repair” items.
- You last year tax return ( please block out your address & ss#’s ) if you are seeking poverty exemption & / or income tax consultation
- If you bring hard copies, do not leave originals.
- OWNERS OF RECORD:
- This is especially needed for hardship filings.
- LETTER OF AUTHORIZATION:
- #Signed statement to authorize engagement we will need that includes “I/We ______ the owners of record on parcel # ___ give authorization for representation in property tax protest filings for the current year as dated”
- EMAIL US:
- Photos for consideration :Include photos of items that an assessor may not be aware of, e.g.: extreme deferred maintenance ( NOT HEALTH VIOLATIONS), or to document inaccuracies in the assessors file/card such as photo of 1 car garage when they’ve list it as 2 car.
